Playing tracks by. Depeche Mode. This show was 12th in the global alternative rock chart and 15th in the global synth-pop chart. rock wave/alternative This mix is missing a lot of familiar Depeche Mode hits like Personal Jesus and Enjoy The Silence. but that's the point. This one is for hardcore fans and digs deep into the albums, rather than just pick the obvious hits. I also wanted to put a few songs from their latest album "Spirit" into this.

Ultra is the ninth studio album by English electronic music band Depeche Mode. It was released on 14 April 1997 by Mute Records. It was the band's first album following the departure of Alan Wilder, who had become disillusioned with life in the band. Wilder's departure and lead singer Dave Gahan's drug problems, which culminated in a near-fatal overdose, had caused speculation that Depeche Mode was finished.
