I can go for being twice as nice I can go for just repeating The same old lines Use the body Now you want my soul Ooh, forget about it Now say, no go. I'll do anything That you want me to do Yeah, I'll do almost anything That you want me too, ooh Yeah. But I can't go for that, no No can do I can't go for that, no No can do I can't go for that, no No can do I can't go for that Can't go for that Can't go for that Can't go for that. Daryl Hall sketched out the song one evening at a music studio in New York City after a recording session for the Private Eyes album. He began playing a bass line on a Korg organ which sound engineer Neil Kerman recorded. Hall later came up with a guitar riff which he & John Oates worked on together.

I can go for being twice as nice I can go for just repeating The same old lines Use the body Now you want my soul Ooh, forget about it Now say, no go. I, I-I, I 'll do anything That you want me to do Yeah, I, I-I, I'll do almost anything That you want me too, ooh Yeah. But I can't go for that, nooo (No) No can do I can't go for that, nooo (No) No can do I can't go for that, nooo (No) No can do I can't go for that Can't go for that Can't go for that Can't go for that, yeah. Yeah, I, I-I, I 'll do anything That you want.

More is the third album by Canadian R&B recording artist Tamia. It was released by Elektra Records on April 6, 2004 in North America. Created over a period of three years, in which the singer gave birth to her first child, the album, initially titled Still, was indefinitely bumped from its original August 2003 schedule after Tamia was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and forced to undergo treatment.

Can't Get Enough" is a song by Canadian recording artist Tamia. It was written by LaShawn Daniels, Fred Jerkins III, and Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, and produced by the latter for the singer's fourth album Between Friends (2006). Released as the album's lead single in 2006, it reached number 26 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The music video for "Can't Get Enough" was directed by Darren Grant. It marked his second collaboration with Tamia.

I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)" is a song by the American duo Daryl Hall and John Oates. Written by Daryl Hall and John Oates, and co-written by Sara Allen, the song was released as the second single from their tenth studio album, Private Eyes (1981). The song became the fourth number-one hit single of their career on the Billboard Hot 100 and the second hit single from Private Eyes. It features Charles DeChant on saxophone.

I can name five or six versions of it. Just last year Simply Red did a song called 'Sunrise,' which was basically 'I Can't Go for That. It wasn't a sample, it was the actual track. Also Simply Red's 2003 UK hit was built around "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)"'s instrumentation. This bridged the gap between the black and white charts, which is a rare achievement for a white act. It hit on the R&B charts as well as the Hot 100. Hall & Oates used a Roland CompuRhythm 78 drum machine on the "Rock & Roll 1" preset for this track. What was the first major Pop song to use a drum machine? We say it was Robin Gibb's 1969 UK hit "Saved by the Bell.

We were recording the Private Eyes album in Jimi Hendrix’s old studio, Electric Lady, and had finished for the day. The only people left were myself, John and the engineer. I was still sitting at my keyboards, just playing around. I had this primitive drum machine, a Roland CompuRhythm, which had a setting called: Rock 1. I pushed the button and out came a rhythm. Then I played the first bassline that came into my head, followed by some chords, and thought: Oh man! There’s something happening here! I yelled into the studio: Turn the tapes on! Then I shouted to John: Play this line  . I can’t say I’d ever noticed but he was quite insistent. Of course, I went away and listened to Billie Jean. And sure enough, it was our groove.
