Although, it's not worse or the same either. Being dead or not existing is better than living in any way. Life is something forced( no one came to the world coz of his own will), being born means you have to face death, pain, disease, disasters and many other terrible things. If someone commits suicide he dies coz of his own will, its obviously better than dieying later without your will.
