This is the best complete CD I have heard in a long time. I loved Rayvon's voice in Angel, loved Shaggy's whole Hotshot album, but this new CD of Rayvon's has exceeded my greatest expectations. Not only is his voice beautiful as expected, but the music and lyrics are great.

When MCA was getting ready to release Rayvon's second album, My Bad, it picked the infectious title track as the lead single - and it was a perfect choice on MCA's part. Produced and co-written by Dave Kelly, "My Bad" is exactly the sort of tune one expects from an associate of Shaggy. Bruce Alexander Michael Brewster (born January 4, 1968), better known by his stage name Rayvon, is a Barbadian singer and songwriter, known for his work with Shaggy. Born in Barbados, he was raised in Brooklyn, New York. He released his debut album, Hear My Cry in 1997. He had a hit in the United States in 1992 with "Big Up", which featured Shaggy, the first of a string of successful collaborations, which included "In the Summertime" and "Angel"

Shaggy’s righthand man, Rayvon, wastes little time in setting the tone for his promising debut Big Yard/MCA album, My Bad (out on June 25). The opening track, Story of My Life, has hit written all over it. Convincing radio to jump aboard is a whole other story. Once the album comes out and people hear it, though, Rayvon said recently, I think they’ll be requesting it. I wanted something for people to grab onto as soon as they put on the album.
