Simmering R&B singer-songwriter Summer Walker properly emerged on the scene during the season bearing her name, giving the girls something to jam to and the guys something to think about. Last Day of Summer is a collection of tracks self-released by the garage rock/psychedelic band White Denim on September 23, 2010. Many of these tunes have been bouncing around since the formation of the band back in 06. We were super pumped to utilize a few fresh and casual musical approaches on this record

Alphastates are an Irish indie/electronica act with a sound based around Dowling's distinctive vocals and a strong melodic backing. They will be releasing a new single Champagne Glass, on the 25th March, followed by their second album, Human Nature, on the 24th April. Catherine Dowling and Gerry Horan first played together in 2001, Alphastates first release was a single Sometimes which they actually penned as part of their previous band Babelfish.

The band consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Catherine Dowling, guitarist Gerry Horan, bass guitarist Stevie Kavanagh and drummer Graham Gilligan. Former member and drummer Mike O'Dowd departed in 2008. Alphastates released one extended play called Good Stuff (2003) and two albums: Made From Sand (2004) and Human Nature (2009).
