Sam makes love with his wife Grace before he is deployed to Afghanistan. Tommy and Grace talk about this song while smoking weed by the fire place.
Love the power of this song, it's so great, I would like to see it on top 3, actually, I would like it in second place, just after the sultans of swing, because this song combine everything that is good, like it a lot, and I don't have more words to describe it. That's all, ROMEO AND JULIET! Voted for Sultans, but this is just about a perfect love song. Without any doubt the greatest song Mark ever wrote during the Dire Straits period. This forgotten last track of the Love Over Gold album deserves more love! Terrific guitar and lyrics - Knopfler at his best. Should easily be in the top 10.
Our guide to the best love songs of all time. Get in the mood for romance with these songs about love. The world seems to agree: The Righteous Brothers version of the song remains the most popular and well-loved out of hundreds of recordings from around the globe. 4. I Say a Little Prayer by Aretha Franklin. Set in F minor, the song hits like a breakup. Burt Bacharach, you clever devil. Aretha belts it like tragedy, too.
This was the first album to feature the group's new lineup, with Chuck Leavell on keyboards and Lamar Williams on bass, as well as Dickey Betts' emergence as a singer alongside Gregg Allman. The subsequent songs with Williams have the bass buried in the mix, and an overall muddier sound
An epic love song from the 1965 album Just Once in My Life. There are a variety of versions floating around, but this particular one was immortalized in the film Ghost. The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by Roberta Flack. An iconic song from the 1984 album She's So Unusual, which just so happened to be Lauper's solo debut. It went straight to the top of the charts and garnered a Grammy Award nomination. I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston.
Motorhead, Love Me Forever (From the album 1916, 1991) This song, from their ninth album, was Motorhead’s interpretation of a heavy metal ballad, and was eventually covered by German heavy metal singer Doro Pesch. The song offers Lemmy’s take on love-one filled with rock n’ roll, sex, drugs, booze, and more sex. Love me or leave me, tell me no lies, Ask me no questions, send me no spies, You know love’s a thief, steal your heart in the night, slip through your fingers, you best hold on tight, Lemmy sings 3. Pantera, This Love (From the album Vulgar Display of Power, 1991) This track could be considered a ballad, with a twinge more aggression. The intro of guitars builds on the heaviness with Dimebag’s powerful, crunchy bashing riffs. Phil Anselmo’s lyrics exemplify a very abrasive, heartfelt, but dangerous side of love.
