The Nice were an English progressive rock band active in the late 1960s. They blended rock, jazz and classical music and were keyboardist Keith Emerson's first commercially successful band. The group was formed in 1967 by Emerson, Lee Jackson, David O'List and Ian Hague to back soul singer P. P. Arnold. After replacing Hague with Brian Davison, the group set out on their own, quickly developing a strong live following

Lee McKinney here. Most of the album will be seven and eight string guitars. I'm considering having a guest solo or two. Considering I will be performing this album ideally in full, I'm hesitant to have too many 'guests. I'm beyond excited to start this monumental part of my life and career. The first US version of Nice was briefly reissued in 1973 by Columbia Special Products.

Case in point - Motive. Motive is their follow-up to their debut album The Circle and the Square. And while I don't think that anything that Simon Toulson Clarke could do would surpass Circle in my mind, Motive is an excellent album in it's own right. The track listing is as follows: 1. Train. Moving is a nice, emotional track that if it hits you at the right time could bring you to tears. Builds to a dramatic cresscendo at the end with a chorus gently singing under Clarke's powerful vocals. I'm not really sure what the song Hungry is about, but it is energetic and has a rather catchy violin hook.
