Do It (Til You're Satisfied)," "Peace Pipe," "Shout It Out" and "Express" are among the handful of jams on this engaging 15-song CD that were actually sizable hits on Black radio; most of the other songs, however, don't fit that description. But play this collection for anyone who deejayed in a Black club in the 1970s, and chances are they'll know most of the material.

From the cover of Brooklyn Trucking Express’ albums, the New York railway-themed funk outfit seem like America’s answer to Fivepenny Piece. However, they are not. Some authentic ‘70s funk tracks can be found on this second albums ‘Non-Stop and Shout’, the pick being the highly infectious and kick-ass ‘You Got It – I Want It’ with its screeching vocals, slapping bassline, break beat and funky horns. Charting with a few tracks off their first album ‘Do It Til You’re Satisfied’ (above); this is a more underground railroad album for funk disciples.
