You can read about Jeff’s discovery of some old master tapes, which he then transferred straight into digital format here: http://www.magneticeyesmusic.com/magnetic-eyes-lp (last two paragraphs or so) - I’d be shocked if Tomlab didn’t use this new digital version for this reissue, but maybe there’s more info to be found.
