Several styles of the traditional music of Venezuela, such as salsa and merengue, are common to its Caribbean neighbors. Perhaps the most typical Venezuelan music is joropo, a rural form which originated in the llanos, or plains. Joropo was developed by creative artists such as Juan Vicente Torrealba, Ignacio Figueredo, Eneas Perdomo and Angel Custodio Loyola, who helped to popularize the music throughout the country.

Cumbia sonidera–densely layered and personalized–creates an auditory archive of feelings of longing, love, and homesickness. Vinyl version of ¡Un Saludo! Mexican Soundsystem Cumbia in LA. Comes with 4 page insert. Includes unlimited streaming of ¡Un Saludo! Mexican Soundsystem Cumbia in LA via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more. Via La Marroquina San Felipe Apartado Postal 3201, San Felipe 3201 Venezuela. I stayed here on a business trip to San Felipe to visit a sawmill. The sawmill recommended and brought me to this hotel. The hotel is nice and well maintained. There is a nice pool and the restaurant is pretty good. The wifi works well and the rooms are large.
