Most of Bob Marley's early music was recorded with Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, who together with Marley were the most prominent members of The Wailers. In 1972, The Wailers had their first hit outside Jamaica when Johnny Nash covered their song "Stir It Up", which became a . hit. The 1973 album Catch a Fire was released worldwide, and sold well. It was followed by Burnin', which included the song "I Shot the Sheriff", of which a cover version by Eric Clapton became a hit in 1974.

Track . also known as "The Letter". Track . also known as "Gotta Hold On To This Feeling". The Complete Wailers 1967-1972 Part 1 ‎(3xLP, Comp). Pense À Moi. AB 06891.

Bob Marley proceeded with Bob Marley and the Wailers, which included the Wailers Band and the I Threes. In 1975, he had his first own hit outside Jamaica with "No Woman, No Cry", from the Natty Dread album. His subsequent albums, including Rastaman Vibration, Exodus, Kaya, Survival and the last album released during his lifetime, Uprising, were big international sellers. Between 1991 and 2007 Bob Marley and The Wailers sold in excess of 21 million records. Nash's version was featured on his eleventh studio album, I Can See Clearly Now (1972), and was distributed in the 7" format in Jamaica and South Africa as the record's fourth and final single.

Trade in all those other Bob Marley and the Wailers compilations, because this three-CD set, in tandem with the companion box Pt. 1: 1967-1972, renders them all obsolete. Alternate versions and dub versions of well-known classics, plus a few previously unreleased tracks, make this a must-have for fans of this most fertile period for Jamaica's greatest trio. Compiled by Marley-ologist Roger Steffens, this exhaustive archive is the culmination of many years' work trying to get at Marley tunes that lay dormant in record company vaults around the world. Impeccable packaging, rare photos.

The Complete Wailers 1967 Audio CD. Bob Marley. Soul Revolution Part II Vinyl. On the first disc, the alternate versions of songs on "More Axe in the Complete Wailers Part 2 series" are nice, but the real treasures of the set are at the Wailers self produced work. Between the two discs, theres two "Screwface's" which have a radical difference from each other in a good way. Then "Satisfy My Soul Babe's" rhythm track is used for "Satisfy My Soul Jah Jah" which both are nice in their own, and they feature Peter Tosh's wah wah effects
