Kasha Nasha is a new Balkan Beat Band from the Netherlands, playing Balkan Beat music, Bulgarian Dance Tunes, Gipsy Tunes, Klezmer Music, other Eastern-European traditionals and own compositions. Strong jazz, rock, folk and even metal influences. The band founded by clarinettist Gottfrid van Eck, former metal band Dis members Remco Menting (drums) and the two brothers Daniël (guitar) and Ben (violin) Mathot joined, Kai Ramati plays the bass and Michiel Ockeloen the accordion.
