And that's very valid point to talk about with an album like this, because it is just a fun, in your face, loud and brash punk debut that isn't trying to send a big message or try to change the game. It's just a band of friends trying to deliver a collection of punk tracks with force and kick to them. When it comes down to it, I listen to music that I enjoy. Or consider a donation? Last year, Remo Drive reissued their debut 2017 record Greatest Hits and dropped an EP titled Pop Music. Now, the up-and-coming emo/pop-punk outfit have announced their sophomore album, Natural, Everyday Degradation, and released two new songs. Due out on May 31st, Natural, Everyday Degradation finds brothers Erik and Stephen Paulson refining Remo Drive’s sound. Where Greatest Hits amounted to an enthusiastic but, at points, naive collection, the new LP promises a sturdier brand of indie-rock produced by Joe Reinhart and mixed by Peter Katis.

Even though they were initially lumped in with the 2010s "emo revival," Minnesota's Remo Drive take it a step beyond that designation on their first major-label full-length, Greatest Hits. Merging a distinct emo yearning with a . punk spirit and unpolished garage rock rawness, they deliver a solid debut fit for fans of Moose Blood, Tiny Moving Parts, and PUP, reaching as far back as Minor Threat and Weezer.
