Consequences contains 6 tracks, and tallies up at about 30 minute. y today’s standards, it’s kind of in the middle of what could be considered an EP vs. an LP. But, heck, Van Halen’s first album was only about 30 minutes long, and that went down as one of the most classic Hard Rock albums of all tim. o I suppose it’s not at all about length that’s important (uh hem), it’s instead what you do with the time you have at hand! WHAT’S GOOD: Shatterpoint has a great, brutal Metal sound. The whole album has a style to it that’s cross between Testament and Slipknot.

This album is definitely driven by the guitars, which are the highlight of this CD. The lead guitar work is actually pretty damn good, the solos are quite memorable, the leads are good too. Most important thing here are the rhythm guitars, though. The album is very headbang-friendly and overall very catchy. Even though the leads are memorable and good, the songs kind of flow right into eachother, making the album sound like one giant Thrash song. This album is definitely not recommended for people with a short attention span, since some might get bored quickly.
