This recording charted in the UK and was immediately co-opted by the Club DJs in the states. Body Work was a huge hit with its disco-funk groove, Toni's fabulous vocals and Calabro's musicianship and arranging. This record was the springboard for Ms. Washington who later on became Toni Blackburn (U.S. Ambassador of Rap to the UN).
