My first taste of Tommy February6 was after numerous recommendations on Crunchyroll. com (a great place for asian media, check it out) whenever I finished watching a video. She seemed cute and different and I loved the glasses so I gave her a shot. So having only heard 'Magic In Your Eyes', I took the plunge and brought Tommy Airline (her second album) instead and found that I wasn't disappointed. Tommy's voice is a dream and woven with the synth-pop sound and dance worthy beats, listening to her work is like an outer body experience. Sure the sound is considered cheesy and her english lyrics (and even her japanese lyrics for that matter) don't make a lot of sense and are even quite silly at times, but it's those things that make it easier and more fun to get into the smooth melodies and funky beats.
