Unknown Pleasures is the debut studio album by English rock band Joy Division, released on 15 June 1979 by Factory Records. The album was recorded and mixed over three successive weekends at Stockport's Strawberry Studios in April 1979, and was produced by Martin Hannett, who incorporated a number of unconventional production techniques into the group's sound. The cover artwork was designed by artist Peter Saville, using a data plot of signals from a radio pulsar.

GUN's seventh studio album, 'Favourite Pleasures' – out on September 15 - stands proudly alongside the very best of their work. The band will be showcasing tracks from the album in 3 live dates in December. Informed by a back-to-basics approach tempered by an innate sense for melody, the record was made in the band's own Morse Code studios in Paisley. It's an album that dances on a knife-edge, one that can turn on a single note from the raw pain of emotions hitting the rocks, to an unbridled celebration of hedonism

Favourite Pleasures is exactly that. uplifting, guitar-driven, dirty, stomping rock music. However this is so catchy I dare any rock fan not to smile at this music. Immediately bought the album on vinyl to sit proudly along side my other recent vinyl purchases from other modern classic rock greats such as Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry, Blackberry Smoke, The Answer, Thunder, Dream Theater, Rival Sons, Black Country Communion, the Pretty Reckless and Halestorm. Definitely go see these guys live if you can. Saw them support Black Star Riders earlier 2017 and they were absolutely brilliant. Love their last album too, wasn't sure what to expect with this new one, but it's an absolute belter, some absolute thumping tracks on here.
