The original band broke up in 2013 with three of the original members, Aske Damm Bramming, Esben Svane and Sebastian Vinther Olsen leaving. Páll "Tim" Schou continued with the band for a token period 2013 to 2014 with new members Jesper Madsen, Johan Jørgensen and Thomas Duus included. But after just a few months, Schou announced the band was folding for good.

Tim (stylised as TIM) is the posthumous third studio album by Swedish producer Tim Bergling, known by the stage name Avicii, released on 6 June 2019. It is his first album release following his death on 20 April 2018. It includes the single "SOS", which was released on 10 April 2019. It is his third studio album, serving as the follow-up to his 2015 album Stories.

Tim Schou won the contest Danish Young Talent 2005 which led to the recording of A Friend of London's first single, "Thoughts of a Boheme". He won with his band A Friend in London the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2011 and came in 5th in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Tim took part in the reality television show Skjulte stjerner (Hidden star) aired from 2 September to 14 October 2011 on Danish television. The album also featured the Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen on one of the main album tracks, namely "Rest from the Streets". In 2014, after the release of their first album, A Friend in London disbanded. In late 2014, Schou released his first solo single called "Supernova". His second single was released in January 2015 and was called "Goodbye".
