Pete Jolly (born Peter A. Ceragioli J. June 5, 1932 – November 6, 2004) was an American West Coast jazz pianist and accordionist. He was well known for his performance of television themes and various movie soundtracks. Jolly began playing the accordion at age three, and appeared on the radio program Hobby Lobby at the age of seven. He was raised in Phoenix, Arizona, a hotbed of jazz at the time

The heyday of pianist Pete Jolly's jazz career was during the 1950s and early 1960s, when he made the bulk of his recordings as a leader. He had previously focused mainly on studio work in Hollywood for television and films, although he performed regularly in a jazz setting up until his death in 2004. His lively interpretation of "Sometime Ago," which includes a solo feature for Berghofer, is easily the album's highlight, though standards such as "One Morning in May" and his take of "I'm Getting Sentimental Over You" are also enjoyable.

Pete Jolly's third album for A&M Records offers the closest recorded approximation of this musician’s talent yet offered the listener. Because in these grooves, produced by Herb Alpert, Jolly is heard not only on standard piano, but also on the Wurlitzer Electronic Piano, accordion, musette, Sano Vox, and Hammond Organ. The effect is startling to say the least, and at times a little unsettling as you wonder where the musician leaves off, and the engineer and technical studio wizards take over.
