Wyrd Sisters is Terry Pratchett's sixth Discworld novel, published in 1988, and re-introduces Granny Weatherwax of Equal Rites.
In a little while we just might see the end is near but it will be too close to recognize while we keep looking for that light to re-appear it will be lost inside the shadow of our eyes it will be lost inside the lies. take a step outside the life you think you know take a look beyond your heartbeat take a walk without the breath you think you own and you might feel inside the dreaming you might feel inside the dream. in still water the reflection is so clear but just one motion sends it realing just one look beyond the self you hold so dear you just might see the pain you're feeling you. Wyrd Sisters features three witches: Granny Weatherwax; Nanny Ogg, matriarch of a large tribe of Oggs and owner of the most evil cat in the world; and Magrat Garlick, the junior witch, who firmly believes in occult jewelry, covens, and bubbling cauldrons, much to the annoyance of the other two.

Inside the Dreaming, the debut album by Canadian trio The Wyrd Sisters, opens with a very cool ambient backdrop. The first three tracks are all very by-the-numbers folk. There's little-to-no experimentation, or even variation in style or structure. The only high point comes partway through the opener when the trio first make use of their ability to have several different harmonies being sung simultaneously, which they do seamlessly. Just when you're ready to dismiss this as a generic folk album, though, everything changes at the fourth track, "One Hip Shaking".
