Shrink is a great album and continue their experimental atmospheric sounds with this album. This album to me has the best compliments of pop, distortion, rock. The album is a continuous flow of music that deserves compliments in its time period. I was introduced to The Notwist through Neon Golden. If you enjoy Neon Golden, you really must pick up Shrink. It's a bit edgier and darker, but the humans behind the electronics are clearly felt. Also, there is a definite jazz influence - two tracks are jazzy instrumentals, and one or two others have a heavy influence. It adds a cool liquid tone to the art as a whole. That's really the point I'm driving at - Neon Golden is a day trip to the park, while Shrink is a dip in the lake at night
