Interesting, uncompromising album from indie quartet TOPS that is most likely to make listeners tap their feet under the desk. Some of the 12 songs presented here are really fun and catchy, while others seem faded to forgetness, but overall, Picture You Staring is a pleasant experience that offers good, infectious riffing and simple, groovy beats with gentle female vocals layered over them. The lyrical content is actually nothing to be in love with, and the songwriting isn't in anyway.
