Stick to Your Guns is an American hardcore punk band from Orange County, California. Members of the band include Jesse Barnett (vocals), Andrew Rose (bass), George Schmitz (drums), Chris Rawson and Josh James (guitars). They are currently signed with Pure Noise Records. Frontman Jesse Barnett formed the band by recruiting Casey Lagos (whom he knew from his days on the worship team for Saddleback Church) on drums.

Stick To Your Guns have always been a band that combine both harsh and clean vocals but Disobedient showcases this combination absolutely brilliantly. The intricate riffs on The Crown lead to a chorus that explodes with melody whilst The War Inside focuses on an explosion of riffs which then flows into a melodic anthem through Jesse Barnett’s excellent vocal delivery.

Stick to Your Guns is back at it again with their new album, Disobedient. Californian melodic hardcore unit Stick To Your Guns performed on The Avalanche Stage over at Download Festival over the weekend, and now they’ve confirmed plans to make their way back over to the UK towards the end of the year.

The spirit of positive defiance permeates Disobedient, the new album from Orange County melodic hardcore act Stick To Your Guns. The presence of OLOC founder and H2O frontman Toby Morse on the album’s frantic track RMA (Revolutionary Mental Attitude) can be seen as a passing of the torch, a symbol that the old guard is ready for frontman Jesse Barnett to assume the mantle of voice of the positive hardcore scene.
