Speaking about the album as a whole Don said, These last few years have been quite a journey for me on all levels. I had to fight many demons on a personal level and rediscovered myself as an artist in the process. I never thought I would end up where I am today, but on my journey I have learned and experienced many things that I have (subconsciously) used while working on this album.
After scoring multiple top 5 hits on Beatport with records like "AnyTime", "Starlight", "On My Mind" and Chemicals he also became an in demand remixer. Don Diablo's 'Future' LP Radiates Positivity With 16 Massive Tracks: Listen. 2/9/2018 by Kat Bein. Each track tells its own story, and represents a different milestone in Diablo's life and career. It starts with synth-laden happiness on "Back to Us" with Mike Waters, even as it tackles subjects of loss and heartbreak, and it really drives the good feels deep on "Everybody's Somebody" with BullySongs. To me they represent the FUTURE, and their talent is a very important part of this album. Diablo also sang on three of these tunes himself; a big statement in itself about his newfound confidence and how deeply these songs reflect his personal journey. After releasing many singles and remixes these last few years, it feels amazing to finally be able to present a real body of work to my fans," he says.
