On their new 12 NUCLEAR AMBITIONS, the band from Boston give it all and are entranced with dark, yet danceable, Punk songs. Somewhere between British 80s Hardcore Punk and noisy elements, the Boston Punks line up in an uncomfortable way. Although the sound production is quite clear, you could maintain the disgusting touch of the last few discs. The melodies are terrific and the echoing vocals are powerful enough to give birth to authentic, disgusting and, above all, frustrated sounds. The terrifying d-beat quartet breaks the ears and sends the authorities running for their lives while their appearance of morality fades away under the auditory oblivion. The titles of the songs are so literal, that they can not be confused even with the indecipherable echoes of the bellow under the attack of distorted cacophony.

D-beat (also known as "discore", "kängpunk" (Swedish for "boot-punk"), "discrust", and crust-beat) is a style of hardcore punk, developed in the early 1980s by imitators of Discharge, after whom the genre is named, as well as a drum beat characteristic of this subgenre. D-beat is known for its "grinding, distorted and brutally political" sound. Discharge may have themselves inherited the beat from Motörhead and the Buzzcocks.

Final Assault's self titled debut album was released in 2010 and in 2011 the band released their second album Dead By Dawn. Dead By Dawn was highly acclaimed crossover metal album by the critics and the listeners. Next release was King Of Shame 7" EP in 2013, including self titled name song and two furious cover songs from The Misfits and Suicidal Tendencies. In 2013 the band also appeared on Turbonegro Tribute Compilation Omega Motherfuckers released by Selfdestructo Records. The obvious song as tribute to Turbonegro was Final Warning, originally released on Turbonegro's Party.
