Enric Madriguera was one of the first bandleaders to play authentic Latin music in the . Born in Barcelona, and the brother-in-law of guitarist Andres Segovia, he became enamored of Afro-Cuban music while touring in Cuba. Here, he performs the exotic instrumental "Jungle Rumba" and backs vocal solos by Patricia Gilmore, Hector Rivera (who went on to great fame), Tom Eldridge and the Holidays. Un Poquito de Tu Amor" is an early one by the great Cuban composer Julio Gutierrez, sung by Desi Arnaz.

Enric R. Madriguera (Barcelona, 17 February 1904 – 7 September 1973) was a violinist of Catalan origin who was playing concerts as a child before he studied at the Barcelona Conservatory. The Castilian form of his name is Enrique, which he sometimes used on records. Whilst still in his twenties he was lead violinist at Boston's and Symphony orchestras before becoming the conductor of the Cuban Philharmonic.

He is best remembered for his role as Ricky Ricardo on the American television series sitcom I Love Lucy. He co-starred on that show with dramatic and comedic actress Lucille Ball (1911–1989), to whom he was married at the time
