Howlin' Wolf is the second studio album from Chicago blues monicist Howlin' Wolf. It is a collection of twelve singles previously released by the Chess label from 1960 through 1962. Because of the illustration on its sleeve (by Don S. Bronstein), the album is often called The Rockin' Chair Album, a nickname even added to the cover on some reissue pressings of the LP.

John Wolf Brennan also works as music teacher, gives lectures and workshops (Cortona weeks, ETH Zurich). With his wife Béatrice and their three daughters Móreen, Enya and Jayne he lives in Weggis/Lucerne, Central Switzerland.
Pianist and composer John Wolf Brennan was born in Dublin, Ireland, and has been widely acclaimed as an outstanding musician. He continued his studies in composition with Karl Berger at CMS in Woodstock, NY, and James Wilson at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin. Additional master classes in composition with Ennio Morricone, Edison Denissov, Klaus Huber, and Heinz Holliger helped to shape his musical education and concepts. John Wolf Brennan is a member of the Swiss composer's group Groupe Lacroix, and the Pan-European quartet Pago Libre.
John Wolf Brennan (born 13 February 1954) is an Irish pianist, organist, melodica player, and composer based in Weggis, Switzerland. Following his album "The Well-Prepared Clavier" (1998), he has developed an extensive array of prepared piano techniques, creating a whole universe of non-electronic sounds, from "arcopiano" to "pizzicatopiano", "tamburopiano" to "sordinopiano".
