Quiet Riot is the self-titled debut studio album by Quiet Riot, released exclusively in Japan in March 1977. It features guitarist Randy Rhoads, who would later gain recognition for performing on Ozzy Osbourne's first two solo albums. Analyzing it decades later, music critic Martin Popoff said that the album was more "glam pop" than hard rock or glam rock.

Quiet Riot is an American heavy metal band founded in 1973 by guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Kelly Garni. The band is ranked at No. 100 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. The original line-up featured Rhoads and Garni with lead vocalist Kevin DuBrow and drummer Drew Forsyth, though that version of the band was mired by turmoil that would eventually see Garni fired for threatening to kill DuBrow.

Very well done album. Definitely better than Muki's first album. Has more variation and groovy tracks. Title track "Quiet Riot" probably my favorite.

QUIET RIOT, Muki’s second full-length, shows a remarkable improvement on their first, both in terms of sound and sophistication. Right off the bat, “Munk Funk” shoots into a tasty jazz groove, followed the delicate and touching cover of “I Don’t Want To Know.” There’s more of a downtempo focus here, which suits the band well, as do the addition of vocals. The title track swings from low-key to upbeat with organic grace. “Funky Sofa” is the epitome of late-night, while “Floating” goes for more funk. The Latin flavor of “Spin Dry” stays light, rather than falling into cliché, and “Judy” enters out-and-out soul. Finally, “Airborne” and “Ghost” close the album in a mournful drift, ending a marvelous musical journey.
