Turn the Page" is a song originally released by Bob Seger in 1973 on his Back in '72 album. Though never released as a single, Seger's live version of the song on the 1976 Live Bullet album became a mainstay of album-oriented rock radio stations, and still gets significant airplay to this day on classic rock stations. Turn the Page" is about the emotional and social ups and downs of a rock musician's life on the road. Seger wrote it in 1972 while touring with Teegarden & Van Winkle.

Turn the Page is an album by American country music artist Waylon Jennings, released on RCA Records in 1985. Jennings recorded the album at a time when he was completely drug-free; this had not occurred in his career for about twenty years. In April 1984, Jennings rented a house in Arizona for himself, his wife Jessi Colter, and young son Shooter, and quit cocaine cold turkey, although he did not intend to quit for good.

Complete summary of Isak Dinesen's The Blank Page. eNotes plot summaries cover all the significant action of The Blank Page. The Blank Page, however, is a unique story conferred on chosen listeners as a rare and distinct privilege. It is unique because it illustrates the loyalty of the storyteller to the true being of the story; it illustrates the storyteller’s knowledge that when words end, silence may speak a deeper truth to one who listens for it. An old storyteller, who learned the art of storytelling from her grandmother, who in turn learned it from her grandmother, tells the story to a lady and a gentleman at an ancient city gate. The writer tells the story as told by the old storyteller.

Lyrics to "Turn The Page" song by Metallica: On a long and lonesome highway east of Omaha You can listen to the engines moanin' out its one note. Turn The Page" (originally by Bob Seger). On a long and lonesome highway east of Omaha You can listen to the engines moanin' out its one note song You can think about the woman or the girl you knew the night before. But your thoughts will soon be wandering the way they always do When you riding sixteen hours there's nothing much to do And you don't feel much like ridin', you just wish the trip was through. Here I am, on the road again There I am, up on the stage Here I go, playin' star again There I go, turn the page. This song was the first single from the album and it reached number one on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. When Lars Ulrich heard the original song he thought it "had James Hetfield all over it".
