Spotted by Francis Falceto uKanDanZ was invited to perform at the Ethiopian International Music Festival in Ethiopia with a charismatic singer from Addis : Asnake Guebreyes. Their contribution was obvious and the new band had great success in its first ethio-european tour. Ever since, the band has been on the road, thrilling its audiences with hypnotic ethiogroove and crazy stage performances. Asnake's first album, originally released on cassette in 1987 Ukandanz. I've only had this album for two weeks (it was released 2 months ago), but it's hard to find fault with any of it. Every time I put it on, I find myself getting into it, and hardly ever turn it off before it's finished, like I often do in my short attention span world.
