Jeopardy is the debut studio album by English post-punk band the Sound, released on 1 November 1980 by record label Korova. The album fared poorly commercially, but received critical acclaim. One single, "Heyday", was released from the album. Following their 1979 EP Physical World, the band started work on a full-length album. Impressed by the rough mixes, Korova signed the group.
The Band is the second studio album by the Band, released on September 22, 1969. It is also known as The Brown Album. According to Rob Bowman's liner notes for the 2000 reissue, The Band has been viewed as a concept album, with the songs focusing on people, places and traditions associated with an older version of Americana.
Best band ever full stop. acdc were briliant in the 80s especialy with back in black which went on to become the fourth most bought album in the u. s. - lezakattack. This world has no taste in music, I swear. The 80s weren't really the best years for ac dc other than back in balck it was more of the late 70s early to mid 90s were there year but ether way the is a band I never even heard of, my generation sucks. How is Duran Duran better than the raw power and energy that is post Bon Scott AC/DC? Case and point: For Those about to Rock or Thunderstruck vs Hungry Like the Wolf.
Underwater Moonlight sounds like the best bar band in the world playing hits from a world that’s better than our own. I Wanna Destroy You and Queen of Eyes, especially, should be radio staples. The debut album by this band from Bristol is all right angles, jagged shards of melody, and the coiled rage that would fuel fellow bands like The Birthday Party, The Fall, and Minutemen. Nothing comes as expected and nothing is as advertised, and you would do well to brace yourself against Mark Stewart’s barrage of words, groans, squeaks, and shrieks.
Best Lead Singers of All Time. What makes a great rock singer? Billboard looked through about six decades of rock and roll history and found the 25 bandleaders who’ve driven crowds the craziest. It’s part breaking boundaries, part stage presence, part slinging hits from a deep songwriting catalog. Overall, they’ve made us feel amazing things - most of all, inspiration. Sure he had the hair, the scarves, and the drugs, but the Demon of Screamin’ has immense style and substance: Tyler had an otherworldly vocal range and treated the Y2K generation with hits like "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" almost four decades after Dream On. Ebet Roberts/Redferns. 004. 026. 23. Kathleen Hanna.
