Extended Play, Reissued. Many Dubs fans will drool over this album. Frankly, and I say this with full love for the guys and respect for their talent and what they've grown to become, I don't see it. What I see, instead, is an uneven album with flashes of brilliance and a definite starting point for future greatness. It's worth picking up if you already love the band, and it sounds lovely if you don't take the EP as anything other than the foundation of something good. On its own, despite the inclusion of Lovely Previn on fiddle and the good vocals, it just doesn't stand up to later efforts.
