Michael Hutchence is the only solo posthumous album by INXS frontman Michael Hutchence. It was released on 14 December 1999, just over two years after Hutchence's death. Hutchence began work on what would become his posthumous solo album in 1995 with Tim Simenon. He then phoned Gang of Four guitarist Andy Gill and asked him to play on the album. Ten minutes later he phoned back and asked Gill to co-write the album

In 1979 the famous Sound of Philadelphia of Sigma Sound Studios threw up this delicious album of funky disco. The big hit was Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now, a mid tempo dance number with lovely interplay between the male and female vocals. Mr Music is another slab of bubbly party funk, whilst Just Wanna Love You Baby is somewhat heavier. Following this debut LP, McFadden and Whitehead only released one further album for Philadelphia International Records, I Heard It In A Love Song in 1980. McFadden and Whitehead, featuring the eight-million selling Philly Soul classic Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now is proof of this.
