Kicking off with the fantastic Beatles pastiche "Lies," the compilation also includes "One Track Mind," "Just One Girl," and the love-as-drugs nod to garage-psych "High on Love. Unlike the similar-quality Lies: The Very Best of the Knickerbockers, this collection has less of the covers that filled out the Knickerbockers' albums and reflected their bar band origins.

From 1964 to 1968 they released 12 singles and one acclaimed album at Challenge, but registered just 3 times on the Billboard Pop Hot 100 as well as twice on the Bubble Under listings in that span. Part of their problem was identity since, at times, they sounded eerily like other contemporary groups.
