Buckner & Garcia wrote non-gaming songs too, like "The Theme To WKRP In Cincinnati," ". I Love You," and a number of ad jingles. Pac-Man Fever also saw a re-release in 1999 with re-recordings of the original album's tunes. Though Buckner & Garcia were out of the spotlight for the most part in recent years, the pair saw its songs from Pac-Man Fever released on Rock Band Network in June, and earlier this month recorded its latest (and last) track, "Found Me the Bomb," a tribute to gaming site Giant Bomb.

Hard to believe since irony has come along and eclipsed dumb fun, but in 1982 more people were actually laughing with Buckner & Garcia than laughing at them. Here, both singles appear alongside songs dedicated to six other arcade classics including Asteroids, Defender, and Centipede.

Buckner & Garcia was a musical duo consisting of Jerry Buckner and the late Gary Garcia from Akron, Ohio. Their first recording was made in 1972, when they performed a novelty song called "Gotta Hear the Beat", which they recorded as Animal Jack. Later, in 1980, they wrote a novelty Christmas song titled "Merry Christmas in the NFL", imagining Howard Cosell as Santa Claus.

Lyrics to 'Wreck-it, Wreck-it Ralph' by Buckner & Garcia. Wreck-it Ralph is a giant of a man, 9 feet tall with really big hands. But he got mad, and he turned bad Brick by brick he's gonna take his land back Wreck-it, Wreck-it Ralph as fast as you can you know you can do it with your colossal hands. So don't let Fix-it Felix and that building stand! I'll wreck it, I'll wreck it! I'll fix it, I'll fix it! I'll wreck it, I'll wreck it! Related.

Reflections is Jerry Garcia's third solo album, released in 1976. Partway through production, Garcia stopped recording with his solo band and brought in the members of the Grateful Dead, who performed on four songs, plus a bonus jam from 2004 release. Three of the four Grateful Dead-performed songs had earlier live debuts: "Comes a Time" (1971), "They Love Each Other" (1973) and "It Must Have Been the Roses" (1974); "Might as Well" entered their rotation in 1976.

This song has quite the backstory. E.T I Love You was supposed to be Buckner and Garcia's follow-up to Pac-Man Fever. Buckner and Garcia recorded the track and gave it to CBS to release, who then held back the song to try and get it licensed by Steven Spielberg and put into the E.T Movie. Their manager flew out to New York and had it played for Steven Spielberg. They thought they had a hit, but then CBS held the song back for Neil Diamond's song "Heartlight", which ended up being in E.T. And the track ended up never getting fully released, until 2009 when Buckner and Garcia re-released it as part of their "Now and Then" compilation album on Amazon. As for the song itself, it's a nice ballad that'll melt your heart if you're a sentimental person, overall a very pretty song with some soft synths and charming lyrics. Shame it never got a full release. If anyone has this for 7" for sale, let me know.
