The discography of Skunk Anansie, an English rock band, consists of six studio albums and twenty-four singles, including one re-issue. The band's members include Skin (Deborah Dyer), Cass (Richard Lewis), Ace (Martin Kent) and Mark Richardson. The group formed in 1994 and disbanded in 2001; they re-united in 2009. Skunk Anansie are named after the West African folk tales of Anansi the Spider-man, with "Skunk" added to "make the name nastier".

Skunk Anansie formed in February 12th 1994, disbanded in 2001 and reformed in 2009  . Skunk Anansie was on stage when the tragedy occurred at Pukkelpop in Belgium on 18 August 2011. As the band was performing a small hurricane hit the venue and artists and revellers alike were sent running for their lives.

I've had it a week now & cant stop playing it a real classic & the dvd's good quality too. It's hard to tell from a blu ray on a 40" Sony HD telly. If you like Skunk & Anansie you've gotta have this, as classic as Nirvana Unplugged in New York.

When Skunk Anansie formed in February 1994, with original drummer Robbie France, the clubs and bars of their native London were stirring with the first murmurings of Britpop – a movement largely populated by white 20-something men with guitars whose heroes were the giants of the past: The Beatles, The Who, The Kinks.
