Snow is the sixth studio album of the progressive rock band Spock's Beard, and the final album with main songwriter and vocalist Neal Morse, who left immediately after the release of the album due to his conversion to Christianity. A double-CD concept album, Snow explores similar ground to classic concept albums like The Who's Tommy and The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway by Genesis. It was released in 2002 on InsideOut Music. The CDs are done in the HDCD format.

Snow is the final album of Spock's Beard featuring Neal Morse as a member of the band. Morse's career turned to his solo project and for awhile, to the joint project with The Flower King's Mastermind Roine Stolt, Transatlantic. Snow was a great effort for Morse. The first disc of Snow introduces us to the albino character Snow who moves to New York City. The songs are just as strong individually as they are togethor. Tracks like Solitary Soul and the duo of Open Wide the Flood gates are works to be hold. Morse's voice makes another quality appearance.

Spock's Beard has been pushing at their own boundaries for a while now, and with Snow, they shatter them and enter into the very promise of what progressive rock is always supposed to deliver: discovering some heretofore unknown sonic territory via the individual and collective focus of creating through the applied effort of one's best musical efforts. Snow is an allegory, it is an archetypal story that is ambitious in scope and redemptive in result, and is a thoroughly rewarding - if challenging - listen.
