Colonel Bagshot were an English rock band formed in the late 1960s in Liverpool, England. Originally called "Colonel Bagshot's Incredible Bucket Band", they began as a six-piece, eventually becoming a four-piece. There can be little doubting Yorke's commitment to the environmental cause. Certainly it's helped him make a solo album that is quietly yet vividly powerful. No dilettante side-project of the idle millionaire rock star, this. But, ever fretful, he knows he could do more.
