The Funky Headhunter is the fifth studio album by Hammer. The album was recorded in 1993 and released in early 1994. The album at the time was hailed as Hammer's comeback album. As with some earlier songs such as "Crime Story" (from the album Please Hammer, Don't Hurt 'Em), the content and reality about "street life" remained somewhat the same, but the sound was different, resulting in Hammer losing favor with fans

Phillip Mlynar of Pitchfork gave the album an . out of 10, writing, "the two emcees have delved deeper and burrowed further into the leftfield, carving out a shadowy nook that not only shuns the commercial trappings of the mainstream but also moves on from the boom-bap theology that can plague these kinds of records
A hammer on is simply picking a note, and then whacking a higher note with another finger. A pull of is basically stroking a note and then releasing a finger to play a lower note. But for my guitar, it makes BARELY any noise. Especially if its the high E or high B string, they make almost barely audible noise. Why is this? Also, what should my gain be set at? Is this the problem? I'm trying to play So Cold by Breaking Benjamin (although its not the only song I play. Dec 12, 2007, 5:59 PM. Like.

The First Seven Days is a landmark classic that never ages, and his pairing with Jeff Beck was a match made in heaven. Growing up in Miami and already being a fan, it was a dream come true when Jan was tapped to provide the score for Miami Vice. It would be years before a proper Miami Vice soundtrack would be released, and Seasons Pt. 1 seems a logical extension of that. I simply love this man's work and I'm thrilled to now be listening to another great album
