Faith in the Future is the second studio album by the American indie rock musician Craig Finn, released on September 11, 2015 on Partisan Records. Regarding the differences between his solo material and his work with the rock-based band The Hold Steady, Craig Finn noted: "From the get-go, when I met with Josh Kaufman, we made this decision to do something more 'age appropriate' with the new album. Something that, as a 44-year old, seemed natural, and also hopefully more elegant and hopeful.

Because we don't know when we will die We get to think of life as an inexhaustible well Yet everything happens only a certain number of times And a very small number, really How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood Some afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you can't even. conceive your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more Perhaps not even that How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty, and yet it all seems limitless. Vingt fois peut-être Et tout cela semble illimité. Near the center of the album, this primarily instrumental collection reveals two pieces with vocals, their words revealing another theme to the album.

FUTURE' is a reminder that Future is trap music’s phoenix-the second you consider him dead, he only burns brighter. The fact there isn’t a single feature on FUTURE only further fed the theory that bullets will be sprayed and that no one is safe. The weather is warm for February-global warming is in full effect-nd the President of the United States causes the American people distress by the day. To write that it's been a stressful month would be an understatement

Future may not have revealed any features or the identity of the producers he's worked with on the project, but he has given fans an idea of how his newest project will sound. I just feel like I want to go back to being more underground, Future explains to Zane Lowe. Just reconnecting with the fans, just more hands-on, being back with my fans.
