Waxing Pathetic - Pop Your Figs! album flac

A couple of the tunes are repeats from the EP, one of the tunes being "Sometimes," that on Pop Your Figs comes on stronger, and clearly with the new vocalist, Mark "Granny" Wheeler, comes out as a much tighter cut with a solid groove. The other tune is "Thee," which has a cleaner, less-electronic effects sound.

Pop Your Figs! was nominated Best Pop Album for the 1999 San Diego Music Awards. Finally, Waxing Pathetic won the regional final of the Entertainment Weekly/Fender Battle of the Bands and ultimately placed third in the national final (6000 plus entries) judged by a panel of A&R executives, record producers and music journalists. In addition to their two highly acclaimed CDs, Waxing Pathetic can currently be heard on Volume 4 of San Diego's award winning Staring at the Sun compilation series.
