This album documents a concert Johnson played in Copenhagen in 1963, backed by Chicago blues kingpin Otis Spann on piano. While his versions of signature tunes like "Tomorrow Night" and "Clementine Blues" may not have the youthful fire of the original recordings, an added wisdom comes through-the kind that can only be acquired with age and experience.

Otis Spann (March 21, 1924 or 1930 – April 24, 1970) was an American blues musician, whom many consider to be the leading postwar Chicago blues pianist. Sources differ over Spann's early years.
