Confetti’s started their offensive in the middle of the New Beat period in the late ’80s with the hit The Sound of C. The producers duo Serge Ramaekers and Dominic Sas composed in 1988 the song The Sound of Confetti’s to promote the then very well known nightclub Confetti’s in Brasschaat (Antwerp). In Belgium, the song was an instant hit and captured at a fast pace the European charts, and soon the follow-up C in China was launched. With C-Day the group reached its zenith. In total the group reached seven times the top regions of the Top 30 National Music Charts. This was followed by an album on LP of all hits. Numerous appearances on compilation albums every year up till now proof that the hits are still favoured by the public (see list way below).
