Exclusive Prime pricing. I got swept up with british trip hoppy bands and unfortuantely, this one slipped by my better judgement. It's like a lesser Olive. If you like Olive's brand of synth-trip-pop unremarkableness, then you might like this. The best track is the lulling, downtempo track Desire, but thats it.

Moronydit

What we have here is a pretty decent trip-hop-ish, pop adventure, perhaps less dark or moody than some of the offerings in the same genre, with a child-like playfulness about the songs. We're not a hundred miles away from Lamb here, perhaps with a dash of Cocteau Twins stirred in for good measure (see 'Pussycat'), or maybe Laika, with a twist of Moloko thrown in (see 'Desire'), but Mulu do a damn good job of avoiding any pigeon holes and flirting around several styles with varying degrees of success. 'Desire' is easily the heart of the piece, a lush, seductive little gem which I strongly recommend. This album is certainly worth a penny (it's current used price online!).
