DC10 – REMIXES – COCOON – ALBUM -2013 should be a vintage year for Timo Maas. Over the next 12 months, he’ll release his long awaited new artist album, Lifer, featuring Mikill Pane, Placebo’s Brian Molko, . It was also where Bach spent the greater part of his life and where one can find the beautiful Bückeburg Palace, where Prince Alexander of Schaumburg-Lippe still lives. It is also the hometown of our hero Timo Maas, who is – somewhat unsurprisingly – buddies with the prince. Has it really been 14 years since Maas’ music burnt itself indelibly on our synapses with the all-conquering remix of Azzido Da Bass’ ‘Doom’s Night’? Indeed it is.
Timo Maas has been on a 30-year quest to deliver his musical wizardry to the world n modes of communication. From a residency at the groundbreaking Circoloco at DC10 in Ibiza, where he has been entrenched for over 15 years, to tours around Europe and the rest of the world, Timo Maas maintains a high level of performance. The visionary German also dedicates his time to conjuring up fresh new productions in his studio. Timo’s last album, ‘Lifer’, included collaborations with a diverse range of artists including Placebo’s Brian Molko, James Lavelle and Mikill Pane. It makes him the man he is today; driven, positive, infinitely creative and full of magic. Vocalists featured on the album. All tracks written by Martin Buttrich and Timo Maas unless stated
