Milli Vanilli was a German R&B duo from Munich. The group was founded by Frank Farian in 1988 and consisted of Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus. The group's debut album, titled All or Nothing in Europe and reconfigured as Girl You Know It's True in the United States, achieved international success and earned them a Grammy Award for Best New Artist on 21 February 1990.

Songs from Gina Mohammed (Real Milli Vanilli, Loft, Bel Air), Kevin Weatherspoon, Ray Horton (MoveTown, Real Milli Vanilli), Tracy Ganser (Bel Air), with Mel Collins (King Crimson, Blues Incorporated, Camel), Linda Rocco (Real Milli Vanilli, Masterboy), Jodie Rocco (The Flirts), Michael Williams (The Touch, Fresh 'N' Funky, First Base), Joan Faulkner (Dee-Vah).. and produced by Frank Farian (Milli Vanilli)!Frank Farian had another idea. He remixed several tracks from the second (Milli Vanilli) album, keeping the voices of Ray, Gina, Linda, and Jodie but mixing out Brad and John. He then hired Tracy Ganser, who looked a lot like Gina, and Kevin Weatherspoon, who looked remarkably similar to Fab, and had them record some vocals as well. The "new" group was named Try 'n' B, with Ray, Gina, Tracy, and Kevin on the cover, and their album was released in America to little success. Still, a different version of the album, which replaced many songs taken from The Moment of Truth with other songs that had been INTENDED for but cut from the same album, was released in Europe, once again to little or no success
