Fishing for Luckies is an album by The Wildhearts that originated as a fan club-only release of newly recorded material, but has since been expanded and re-released with extra tracks. The songs were newly recorded and featured the line-up of Ginger on vocals and guitar, CJ on guitar and vocals, Danny McCormack on bass, and Ritch Battersby on drums.

Later repackaged and resequenced for commercial release, the album contains so much topnotch material that it almost qualifies as a full-fledged successor to 1995's excellent . In fact, the only clear signs betraying this as anything but a legitimate album are many of the song's lengths. Short bursts of madness like the cartoonish "Mood Swings & Roundabouts" and "In Like Flynn" are countered with some of singer/guitarist Ginger's most ambitious mad epics.

The Wildhearts next planned a double album, but East West vetoed this plan during the recording sessions. Instead the band released a collection of six of the more eclectic tracks on a fan club-only release entitled Fishing For Luckies in early 1995.
