For ten years no new recordings were heard from Moondog until producer James William Guercio took him into the studio to record an album for Columbia Records in 1969. A second album produced with Guercio featured one of Moondog's daughters as a vocalist and contained song compositions in canons and rounds.

This 1990 album featuring Julie Andrews, Christopher Parkening, The Ambrosian Singers and the London Symphony Orchestra was by far the very best. Many familiar selections are balanced by lesser know yet beautiful seasonal songs from around the world. The arrangements are gorgeous. Sadly the CD was for sale through Hallmark Stores for the 8 weeks leading up to Christmas 1990. Although a few tracks were reissued in a later 2-CD set from Hallmark these original packages were discontinued at the end of their Christmas season. It makes no business sense. Hallmark derives no profits from collectors re-selling used copies at inflated prices.
Gary Lagan had left after In Visible Silence leaving Anne Dudley and . Jeczalik to continue as a duo. Dudley recalls, At that time, we were meeting new people, doing adverts and films and things. Additionally, there are 22 unreleased recordings from the sessions, taken from the original master tapes. In No Sense? Nonsense! 2CD deluxe is likely to be released on 2 November 2018.
More songs from Julie Andrews. More songs covered by The Supremes. More songs used in movies. More songs about joy and happiness. Camille from Toronto, OhJulie Andrews introduced us to this song and did a fine job, but country singer Lorie Morgan does a cover of it on her Christmas album, and I like it even better. Even my teenage son loves it. Beautiful lyrics you can visualize, often gets radio play around Christmastime.
