Plays Cole Porter' is interesting also (but maybe not as much traditional dixieland?), and it's cool that they are both on one CD. I'm not really into jazz, I'm more of a blues fan myself, but I like this kind of old style jazz. I can't imagine it gets much better than this. Yet it remains (in my opinion) one of the best albums of all time. Here we have the authetic New Orleans Jazz style presented by a group of faultless musicians who have a fresh and vigorous aproach to the medium. As though that weren't enough, they have elected on this album to play the incomparable melodies of Cole Porter.
