E Nomine (a twist of the Latin phrase "In nomine" meaning In the name ) is a German musical project, formed in 1999, by producers Christian Weller and Friedrich Fritz Graner. Their music, which they call monumental dance, is an unusual combination of trance/techno and vocals which closely resemble Gregorian singing and chanting. Other vocals are performed by German voice actors; such as long-time collaborators Christian Brückner and Rolf Schult.

Featured on the album is E Nomine's debut single "Vater Unser" which features the German synchronis speaker for Robert De Niro, Christian Brückner, speaking and chanting the Lord's Prayer. He also provides his vocals on the second single "E Nomine (Denn sie wissen nicht was sie tun)" which is featured on the Digitally Remastered Version of the album. E Nomine (from the Latin In Nomine, "In The Name Of") is a German musical project, formed in 1999, by producers Christian Weller and Friedrich "Fritz" Graner. Their music, which they call monumental dance, is a combination of trance, techno, and vocals which closely resemble Gregorian singing and chanting. Other vocals are performed by German voice actors such as long-time collaborators Christian Brückner and Rolf Schult. It is a self-proclaimed revolution of E Nomine. The theme of their first album is the Crusades. The lead vocalist is Graner himself, who sang also Heilig and Excalibur, the last two known (but never officially released) E Nomine songs. Both songs are on the first Schlafes Bruder album, released on March 13th 2013 YouTube Encyclopedic.

The album comes with thirteen songs and around fourteen interlude tracks that punctuate each song, which I found particularly nice as it made the album seem like a cohesive story than just a collection of music. Each song has its own style, while keeping the same E Nomine feeling that we've all come to know and love. Song Quality: The songs on the album are some of the best I've heard from E Nomine. Every song felt fresh and separate from the others, but still fit the theme of the album
